1. Promoting, developing and diffusing sports, competition and recreation spirit among the deaf.

2. Organising, running, guiding, diffusing and developing sports in general terms for the deaf and the hard of hearing.

3. Claiming that the organised society and its vehicles related to sport activities respect the rights of the deaf.

4. Supporting the work accomplished in the sport facilities at the educational centres for the deaf.

5. Determining a sport policy for the deaf and submitting proposals and suggestions to the competent and state vehicles with respect to the sport policy issues of the Republic of Cyprus.

6. Caring and co-ordinating the sport activity but also the social behaviour of each deaf club and other organisations.

7. Co-operating closely and exchanging experience with clubs, organisations, deaf sport federations and educational centres in and outside Cyprus on social and sport issues related to them.

8. Being aware of and informing the deaf correctly about the sport news in Cyprus and abroad

.9. Sensitising the political, social and educational vehicles to consider the wish and the aptitude of the deaf to exercise, be recognised on an equal basis and being accepted in society.

10. Participating in the Deaf Annual International Games organised by the C.I.S.S. and the European Deaf Sports Organisation and also in any other deaf international games.

11. Organising or participating in international seminars or congresses related to the deaf sports.

12. Carrying out all the projects and activities of the Cyprus Deaf Sports Federation as well as achieving all its objectives.

13. Informing and enlightening the public about the deaf sports activities but also their possibilities to exercise.

14. Giving the opportunity to all the deaf, members of the Federation in Cyprus, to take part in Olympic games, European and other competitions.

15. Training sport teams composed of deaf and hard in hearing to represent Cyprus in the best possible way during sport events not only in Cyprus but also abroad.

16. Encouraging, co-ordinating, supervising and organising international, pancyprian and other deaf competitions.

17. Co-operating with the Cyprus Sports Organisation and the Cyprus Olympic Committee as a single unit.
