| 1. Representing this sport both in Cyprus and abroad, co-ordinating the duties of its members, developing, diffusing, organising and running generally the sailing sport. Preparing a revised publication of the Internal and International Rules and Regulations, which run the sailing sport or the class of the various vessels, offering technical assistance to newly established clubs or club departments, getting possession of material and supplying it with its members, monitoring the use of the acquired material, announcing and supervising International, Pan Cyprian and Regional competitions and events related to sailing, approving and supervising the official internal and local competitions organised by its members, setting up the National and Olympic Team, approving the participation of Cypriot sailors in international competitions in Cyprus and abroad and generally assisting its members by every moral means and providing them with any kind of material with view to developing sailing and promoting sea love according to the principles of cultivating the spirit of love for sports among athletes and fans. 2. Bringing out an official bulletin and any other kind of informative material about the evolutions and the amendments of the regulations, which run sailing and also any other printed material with view to diffusing the sailing sport. 3. Getting possession of uniform type of vessels of various international classes and diffusing them as well as encouraging the construction of such vessels and their accessories in Cyprus. 4. Designating any legislative and taking any legal measure, which would in general terms, promote and facilitate the exercise of the sailing sport and yacht racing in Cyprus. 5. Ex-officio or on a Member?s demand hearing of charges by the Judicial Committee of the Federation and also ex-officio hearing of faults of athletes / Members of the Federation and imposition of penalties to ensure that the order and discipline have been established and preserving a high standard. real spirit of this sport and the Olympic idea. 6. The Judicial Committee of the Federation judging appeals of athletes at a second degree following a decision made by Adjudicating Committees or the Committee of Umpires in case of objections related to the celebration of sailing competitions according to the rules in force but only should a misinterpretation or misapplication or any infractions occur. An appeal may be made even if the announcement of the competition excludes the lodging of an appeal according to the regulations of the ISAF. 7. The articles of the chapter A cannot be amended unless before a General Assembly of the representatives with a 3/4 majority of the present Members.
